Other recent books include <em>Who Will Care For Us: Long Term Care and the Long Term Workforce (Russell Sage,2017);<\/em>\u00a0\u00a0<em>Good Jobs America: Making Work Better for Everyone<\/em>\u00a0(Russell Sage, 2011);\u00a0<em>The Truth About Middle Managers: Who They Are, How They Work, How They Matter<\/em>\u00a0(Harvard Business School Press, 2009);\u00a0<em>Gathering Power: The Future of Progressive Politics in America<\/em>\u00a0(Beacon Press, 2003),;\u00a0<em>Securing Prosperity: The American Labor Market: How It Has Changed and What to Do About It<\/em>\u00a0(Princeton University Press, 1999), and\u00a0<em>Working In America: A Blueprint for the New Labor Market<\/em>\u00a0(MIT Press, 2001).<\/p>\n<p>Osterman is also the author of\u00a0<em>Employment Futures: Reorganization, Dislocation, and Public Policy; Getting Started: The Youth Labor Market<\/em>;\u00a0<em>The Mutual Gains Enterprise: Forging a Winning Partnership Among Labor, Management, and Government<\/em>; and\u00a0<em>Change At Work<\/em>. He is the editor of two books,\u00a0<em>Internal Labor Markets<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0<em>Broken Ladders: Managerial Careers in the New Economy<\/em>.
